IMPORTANT NOTE: Teams unable to complete the 8 members will be disbanded and moved to the 10K Individual Category.
Once your Team Captain, creates your team, they will share a link for you to join your 10K Team Division and a Team Access Code; alternatively you can also search the team name here but you will still need the Team Access Code.
We encourage friendly competition amongst the following Team Categories:
SCORING: Finishers’ times and positions are recorded at the finish line. The team’s score is based on the accumulation of the top 8 team members’ placement (i.e. what place they come in crossing the finish line based on their gender). Those registered for Virtual and Vancouver Sun Run Sponsor teams do not qualify.
Teams have an option to have their team name OR logo on the back of their shirt. Details on shirt artwork specs can be found here!
Team Package consist of the entire team’s branded tech shirts and race bib with timing tags.
There are 2 options for Team Package delivery:
1. FREE Courier – Team Packages will all be delivered to the address provided on the team registration form completed by the Team Captain. There is no courier cost as this is a team benefit! Team members then need to contact their Team Captain directly to pick up their race package. Team Captains can expect to receive the courier between April 11-16, 2024.
2. Pick up at Sun Run Expo – teams may opt-in to pick up their team package at the Sun Run Expo (which works best for teams who are out of town or in very rural areas where Purolator cannot deliver). If you chose this option, please see the Teams Info Table at the Sun Run Expo at BC Place (777 Pacific Blvd, Vancouver) on Friday, April 19, 2024 from Noon to 7pm or on Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 10am to 5pm. There will be no other pick-up dates or times available.
Please Note: For teams who were disbanded and moved to the Individual 10K, you must go to the Sun Run Expo to pick up your race package.
The Platform is where Team Captains can see who’s registered, the shirt sizes ordered, ensure your shipment info is correct and pay your invoice (if applicable).
Exclusive to the Team Division, you can choose to set-up your team’s registration fees to be invoiced directly to your corporation or organization. Invoiced registrations are considered as a paid registration therefore considered final with no refunds, transfers or name exchanges allowed on invoiced registrations.
Payment must be received no later than March 22, 2024. Team packages will NOT be released unless payment is paid in full. Invoices can be paid anytime in the ‘Team Captain Dashboard”.
Fees listed are per person. Processing fees and taxes will be added upon check-out.
