Audrey Tong
I started running a few years ago! I love exploring the city and making new friends through the various run clubs. I particularly love running the Sun Run – the camaraderie and beautiful course is unbeatable! |

Fabiana Clavijo Baquero
My brother and I have been lucky enough to take part in the Vancouver Sun Run for the past two years. We absolutely love it-not just for the race itself, but for what it’s taught us. It is not about how fast you finish or beating a certain time. It is about who you run with, the memories you make along the way, and the impact you leave on others. |

Darren Kerr
My name is Darren, I am 32 years old, born and raised in Vancouver and I love running! In the summer of 2022. I randomly took myself for a run along the Stanley Park Seawall and I haven’t stopped since. To date I have run 7 Marathons and I also ran 65 Kilometres raising funds for Cystic Fibrosis because I happen to have CF. I love participating in the Vancouver Sun Run because of how it brings the running community together, the energy from all the people and the event itself, and lastly running on the streets in this beautiful city. |

Luyelh Handog
I love Sun Run for the way it brings the community together, makes the city come alive, and welcomes everyone— every pace, every person. Running has been my little adventure—Each mile is a discovery: a view, a feeling, and even new sides of myself. |

Niloufar Badihi
I started running back in 2017 to lose weight, and quickly I fell in love with it and since then I haven’t stopped running. In 2018, me & my husband registered for our first Sun Run, and we’ve been racing every year since then. It is the only race we both really enjoy to run and as soon as we finish the race, we can’t wait for the following year to come! The whole atmosphere, the crowd, the music bands, package pick-up: all fun! Let’s not forget the people who cheer for us along the way and their signs. |

Bruna Prauchner
I love running because it teaches me resilience and shows that progress comes with persistence. |

Daniel Simpson
Daniel Simpson also known as Mr. Kamino, is the Founder of Kamino Run Club, a growing running community based in Coquitlam. A passionate runner and running leader, Daniel is dedicated to creating inclusive running events that bring people together through running and community. |

Robert Tang
I love running because it lets me explore the world from a unique perspective—whether in the remote reaches of Iqaluit, the scenic landscapes of Europe, or the villages and cities of Asia, I notice details most would miss. The Vancouver Sun Run is especially meaningful as my hometown tradition since childhood, and I’m proud to carry that passion with me every year. |

Lyndsey Busch
Hi! Im Lyndsey a personal trainer out of Ocean Park, first time Ambassador for the Vancouver Sun Run, second year running in this amazing event and hopefully many more years to come!
|

Jay Sneddon
I love to run for myself and community. I love the Vancouver Sun Run is because it’s where my journey began nearly 20 years ago at the 22nd edition in 2006. |

Jake Ball
I started running back in 2012 as a simple way to stay active and be a bit healthier. Since then, I’ve run 2 world major marathons along with dozens of other races at varied distances. I love the running community and the atmosphere that comes with racing! This will be my second year pacing with the Vancouver Sun Run and I can’t wait to help you all reach your goals! |
