How Do I Track My Time?
There will not be official timing for the 2021 virtual race and participants will indicate their time when they upload results. Track your time with your smart device, watch or running app – whatever works for you!
Can I Complete The 10K Over Multiple Days?
Yes! The goal of the virtual race is to stay fit and active. If you want to complete the race in one, 2 or ten days, the choice is yours!
How Do I Share My Time Results?
You will be able to easily share your results on our website. More details to come as we get closer to the race.
Running Room Training Program
Locations: All Running Rooms stores throughout the Greater Vancouver Area.
Program Description: This 12-week training program has been specially designed to prepare you for the Vancouver Sun Run! Classes are held once per week with a 20–30 minute group seminar followed by a group run. To complete your weekly training schedule, you can then join your instructor and group members for training runs (i.e., no class) at Run Club on Wednesday and Sunday mornings.
SportMedBC InTraining Program
Location: Over 50 locations throughout the Lower Mainland and BC
Program Description: Whether you’re a runner or a walker of any level, the internationally regarded SportMedBC 10K InTraining Program will help you reach your health and fitness goals in a safe and supportive environment. Choose from any of our five 13-week programs, designed by SportMedBC’s RunWalk Coach, Olympian Lynn Kanuka, that will gradually develop your strength and stamina so that you can train injury-free in preparation for a 10K distance. Join the InTraining community of walkers & runners across the province and receive: 13 guided run/walk sessions with trained leaders, a logbook with your 13-week training plan, exclusive gear, nutrition tips, fun times and more.

Rackets & Runners – Learn to Run 10k Program
Location: Rackets and Runners, 3880 Oak Street, Vancouver, BC, V6H 2M5
Program Description: The Learn to Run 10k clinic is designed for new runners. Each workout begins with a warm up that includes a 5-10-minute walk and dynamic stretches. The program focuses on timed run and walk intervals that gradually increase on a weekly basis. This clinic is perfect for anyone looking for a supportive environment.
Robson Run Club
Location: 788 Robson Street, Vancouver, BC, V6Z 1A1
Program Description: Robson Run Club is a community-run program designed to aid runners of all levels in their ability to achieve their running goals. Our quest is to improve the runner’s pace levels through hill training and speed work, and encourage them so they may hopefully attain their race goals. Training runs occur every Monday at 6 p.m. and Saturday at 10 a.m.
